Hah! Finally my very 1st post man! Go on guys, call me a nerd who doesn't know how to post up blog. :0 So..today i will be givin ya guys ur result slips! Even though u guys may not have done extremely well, still wanna u guys to know that i am still proud of u bunch of ppl. WHY??? Becoz i have a class full of talents! (Not in any order): Animators, artists, sailors, musicians well versed in western and eastern musicals, singers, adventurers, drama mammas and papas, ee..hah! karate-chop!, IT and media specialist, and of cos' the cool and gd-lookin' babes and guys! My babies, keep up the 'momentum' for the OP prep! Now i need to drink my soya bean milk for breakfast b4 i see u guys in class SOON!

Hey guys. It's Andreas here. Just felt the need to post after reading Randall's entry.

I know I'm not exactly close to the class. Most of the time I don't even know what's happening in this darn blog or the latest scandal/controversy/etc. I need to be told. And to be honest I feel I'm much closer to the students' council.

That shouldn't be the case, right? After all I see you people everyday. But I'm just not that involved. The only people I talk to is probably Siswand, Taufiq, Zamir and Prakash. I talk to some other people sometimes out of necessity. Not good enough.

And I know some of you were and still are irritated/annoyed with me or just plain dislike me. That's actually quite understandable...I was never Prince Charming or even close, and it's unlikely I'll ever be one =P But I try my best and I hope that's good enough.

To anyone I've offended in the past, I'm sorry =) The only thing is, if you've got a problem with what I do, tell me straight out. I'd rather much appreciate that than finding out about it from others.

It's still unlikely that I'll be a tight-knit member of the class. Hell sometimes I can barely talk to Krishnan, and he's supposed to be my best buddy (right, Mr 4As?). I'd sure like to try though - I hope you guys give me a chance too.

About the girl-guy divisions. Well, like I said on the tagboard, I believe that's natural - we connect with those we're comfortable with. Haha but you can keep going on, Mr. Mediator...who knows? Something might come out of it.

P.S: One last thing. I don't think I'm coming for the chalet. Sorry! =/

Hmm well after beginning my "Quest to Befriend 06S32", it has come to my attention that the class is highly segregated. Innit? Tsk. There's like Muggerland, Non-muggerland and The Guys (aka The Brotherhood as we/they so affectionately name it). Well that IS kinda bad right? So i ATTEMPTED to join the girl's group whenever i could which actually worked on a small scale. I hope. Haha well i'm assuming that my efforts were in vain. So the following comments are made on goodwill and i DON'T intend to start some great disagreement okay.

So here's a message to The Guys: Let's be abit nicer to the girls and erh try and try to be abit more mature. Hahaha. I urge everyone of you. Lol. Try ar... No harm being abit nicer right? I'm sure they're all very nice people. :)

Oh and here's a message to the girls too: Hey cut the guys some slack lar and be abit more accomodating? Hahaha it takes effort from both parties to be friends? Erm guys like to be childish sometimes just to have fun. I think. Yep take it as the guy's version of shopping or something- it's something they enjoy doing but they don't do it ALL the time. Hahahahaha.

Okay i'm expecting disagreements but this is my point of view and i'm open to other ideas. Hmm. Yep. Let everyone TRY okay? Yep all the way up till class chalet and beyond.

JOLIE QUIPS:

i just had to blog today cos i know that after tonight(gasp!), i'll be hiding in my well-scrubbed turtle shell, occasionally extending my green wrinkled neck to take peeks at the welcoming railings.
why do we have soo many subjects on monday??

alright enough of that, i wanna talk bout our lovely classmate -smiles-, mark.

just a few weeks pre-promos, mark was absent from school and being the caring classmates (who were truly concerned bout her academic well-being) that we were, we compiled a list of homework, tutorials &lectures that she missed.

we couldn't resist and added "when you were gone, we saboh-ed you as the Class' Courtesy Ambassador".
she believed. LOL, we really didn't expect her to.
how guillible! (sounds familiar eh pea?)
the rest of us exchanged cunning smiles. (:

of course, she retaliated and went on bout how she was probably the least-courteous person ever and that her conversations are always littered with vulgarities.

we did nothing to help but terrorised her with thoughts of going up stage to have show-and-tell sessions on the number of times she had helped the blind man cross the road.

but after casually mentioning how it would portray her as a Wholesome Person when reflected on her testimonial, she was convinced. :D

FIRST! we made her do an essay on Why I Should Win The Award bwhahah. (you'll see later).

after that, on a certain wednesday we told her, "hey, mr seet wants to see you later during pe about the courtesy ambassador thing.. maybe your essay's shortlisted!"

expectedly, this was met with her usual )#;@#(@#*^#(*&@#(*&@#)#&#.

later during pe after much nudging and "GO!!!"s, mark went forward.
MARK: errr, mr seet. you wanted to see me?
MR SEET: see you? for what?
MARK: err, the courtesy ambassador thing.

haha you should've seen his terribly confused look, the rest of us were in stitches already.

after explaining to mr seet about the situation he laughed and announced to the class "hey! we have a Courtesy Ambassador here!" and insisted that she said "thank you" after he instructed us to run 4 rounds. lol!

Being voted for this courtesy award is by no means an easy feat. Growing up to be refined and well-behaved, I must say it is as difficult as trying to abide by the commandments of the Bible. It takes not just one day or one week to learn how to say “Good morning” to teachers and parents or put up a smile and say “Hello” even to strangers, all dutifully, but constant effort to try the best to be polite to just about everyone in the world. There are times when I feel that being well-mannered to people I dislike, but have superior ranking than me, is really hypocritical. It really compresses my feeling but like what my mother often says, “They are your elders. You have to respect them”. Eventually, this became a natural habit that cannot die easily. For what I am today, all I have got to say is just two words – strict upbringing.
