Our Little Trip to Toa Payoh, * literally it means “the old longkang” in malay

Harlo! K, its now my turn to blogg, after all the sindhu’s nagging. Best of all, I got the eve of our second EoM submission day to do this…haha fine.. kk niwae I shall talk abt last sat nite’s trip with members of the brotherhood to toa payoh eng wah to catch the swashbuckling pirates 2. so here it goes, that sat afternoon itself, prakz was feeling damn generous. He gave us a call n sort of organized a movie outing with seven of us, me, zamir, nas, fiq, andrea n Krishnan. So we all set la, I mean who wudn sia, prakz treatin us le! He won some cash money from the tan kah kee thingy la.

The plan was like this, prakz called to book the backseat tickets n eng wah said u all muz come 45 mins b4 movie starts to collect the tix. Movie was at 730. I met him at his place there at 6 and took the bus straight to toa payoh. We spent quite some time looking for the cinema n tadah! guess its all fated, we picked the tickets at 7 pm, 15 mins late. The lady said we r left with only the seven seats on the second row…so sad la but what to do…no choice la n we juz grabbed those tix. Total was abt $66.50

Then we still have like .5 hour b4 movie starts. So we went to McD to have something light. I ate choc sundae, the rest ate burgers, zamir ate strawberry sundae n our ever-hungry nasrul miraculously decided to skip the eating opportunity. Dunno whats gone into him la. I must highlight he was all too quiet thru out the trip, very atypical of him.
I asked him, ‘ y u so depressed huh? Md yrs izzit?’ he said No. ok fine, so I asked a second time, ‘ then is it the floorball u r not satisfied with?’ the answer was the same as b4. at this very juncture, I think I can REASONABLY conclude that he must have been depressed coz of a gerl. I mean, if its not Md Yrs nor flooball competition, what else can potentially make our ever cheerful fren here so depressed? I strongly believe my theory is well supported by rigorous logical treatments. Haha

The movie was nice, shud really not miss it…worth the money as it’s 2 hr plus. Basically that’s all I can say coz I dun wanna destroy the surprise for those who have not watched. To be hypocritical, I just wanna point one strange part in the movie : at the end, captain Barbossa is ALIVE!!! Wth! Hes supposed to be dead, shot dead in pirates 1!... geez, I hope I didn spoil the surprise for some of u wahaha

Movie ended at abt 10 n we had to ruch coz the fiq gotto be back by 11. he told us he came back just on time when the guard was locking the door haha. Yeah, that’s abt it la for our little trip to toa payoh…I mean what else do u want? It was already 11 pm…
